Today, my agent and I sent out the manuscript to publishers. It’s an exhilarating and nerve-wracking moment. My story, which began as a vague idea in my mind, is now being read by professionals who have the power to bring it into the world.

The submission process is a new level of vulnerability. It’s one thing to share my work with an agent, but sending it to publishers feels like a bigger leap. The stakes are higher, and the anticipation is intense.

I’ve prepared myself for another round of waiting and potential rejections. Each stage of this journey brings its own challenges, and this one is no different. But I’m also filled with hope and excitement. The possibility that my novel could find a place on bookshelves is a dream coming closer to reality.

This phase is teaching me about letting go and trusting the process. I’ve done everything I can to shape and polish my story. Now, it’s about finding the right home for it. I’m learning to be patient and to keep faith in the journey, no matter how long it takes.

I’m also reflecting on how far I’ve come. From the blank page to submitting to publishers, it’s been a journey of growth and discovery. I’ve learned so much about myself as a writer and as a person.

For now, I’m focusing on the positive. Each submission is a step forward, and I’m ready to see where this path leads.
