June 15, 2026. Today, I saw the first draft of my book’s cover design. It was a surreal and emotional moment to see the story I’ve been working on for so long visualized in such a beautiful way. The cover artist captured the essence of the novel perfectly, from the mood to the details that make the story unique.
Seeing the cover makes the book feel more real. It’s no longer just a manuscript on my computer—it’s becoming a tangible product that readers will hold in their hands. This step is bringing the dream closer to reality.
The process of selecting a cover design was fascinating. I provided input and shared my vision for how I wanted the book to be represented. It was a collaborative process with the designer, who brought their own creative expertise to the project. I’m amazed at how they translated the themes and emotions of the story into a visual form.
This experience is teaching me about the importance of visual storytelling. A cover is the first impression readers will have of the book, and it needs to capture their interest and convey the story’s essence. I’m grateful to be working with such talented professionals who understand this so deeply.
For now, I’m eagerly awaiting the final design and looking forward to sharing it with the world. This journey is full of exciting milestones, and I’m savoring each one as it comes.
